The Joy of Helping Others ... a Giving Testimony

“We were very happy to be able to make a donation to Crown.  It has had a big impact on the last 15 years of our lives. Because of the counseling, books and broadcasts we were debt-free except for our mortgage.  When we received an inheritance in May, because of the good position that we were in financially, we were able to: tithe on the total (which blessed our church and other Christian organizations) increase our 401K contributions from 2% to 5%, add savings to take our emergency fund from one month to five months, pay off our small mortgage, replace our worn cars with (new to us) fuel efficient cars, and give each of our four grown children a modest amount of money. It is so encouraging to be in our early fifties and know that financially we are in good shape. Of course, we remind ourselves that the Lord is still our provider and protector so we don't stop depending on Him or looking to Him for wisdom and help.”
